Put your preferred hand on your mouse. For most people, this will be the right hand, but if you're used to wielding your mouse left-handed, you will be able to do the same for this procedure. Once you've chosen a hand, use the mouse to navigate the pointer on your screen (often referred to as a 'cursor') to the words "Message Detail" in the header of any of the posts made with the username in question. You will notice the cursor changing and a line appearing under the words Message Detail. These are visual clues indicating that the words in question form a hyperlink; a clickable area of text that will bring you to a new page on the same site, or to a different website entirely (in this case, it's the former).

Holding the cursor still over the Message Detail hyperlink, click the left mouse button once. After a short period of waiting, dependent on the speed of your connection and the current response time of the GameFAQs servers (which in turn is dependent on how busy the servers are at the time), a new page will appear where you have several available reasons to mark for moderation.

Study the list carefully. You will notice that 'impersonation' is not among the options presented, however at the bottom there will be an option labelled 'other', which comes with a small text field where you can further elaborate on your reason for marking. This is the option you want. Hover the mouse cursor over the radio button just to the left of 'other' - conveniently, each radio button corresponds with the text just to the right of it - then click this button to select the Other reason. Next, click anywhere in the area of the text box just to the right of where your cursor is now. It doesn't matter if your cursor is near the middle of the text box or closer to either side of it, as long as it is hovering somewhere over the area. You will now be able to enter text in this box. Copy the following text exactly:

When the appropriate reason has been entered, confirm your mark by moving the mouse to the button labelled 'report message'. As its label implies, this button will let you report the message to a moderator for review. Click it, and after a short waiting time a confirmation should appear that the message has been marked for moderation.

Congratulations! You've just marked your first message. The procedure seems complicated at first, but over time, you will find it is much easier and less time consuming than complaining on Message Board Help. Have a nice day!
