The website originally started on March 3, 2005 as a directory for various GameFAQs users birthdays.

The original website was started and maintained by Crono LV99 for years, I volunteered to take it over for him. It slowly grew from a small ad-ridden page on Angelfire to being hosted on our own website, MBHShield.com, which was created when the user mrbort and I along with other users such as DagothUReturns started our own MBH Social message boards. It originally had a basic layout made for me by TrueDFX and bansama, but as the site grew the kind and generous headbanger allowed me to use his own layout. Much thanks head bangin' one!
